An international students‘ exchange has brought Krista Blaine (16), Sarah Eagle Elk (16), Benjamin Defender (15) and Jered Herron (16) from St. Joseph’s Indian School in South Dakota, accompanied by their chaperones Jennie Schilling and Frank Whipple, to Gymnasium Leoninum (31 May – 14 June 2017). The exchange included many exciting activities like canoeing on River Hase, a trip to „Warner Brothers Movie Park“ in Bottrop as well as sightseeing in Osnabrück and Berlin. Moreover, the American guests visited several classes to give presentations about their school, Indian life and sports and above all to get into a conversation with the students of Gymnasium Leoninum.
